This is a collection of memories and reminiscences of Arthur S. Cory and Johanna (Kiehlbauch) Cory. It was written by Arthur S. and Johanna Cory. Mildred Jeffries was the amanuensis (secretary) for the memoirs of the Corys. Mr. Cory kept all the newspaper clippings about himself and his wife's activities in scrapbooks over the years. He states this autobiography is written when he is 85 years old and the scrapbooks have been good reminders of different activities through the years.

Maud P. Mitchell was born about 1883 in Oregon. She married Chas. R. Mitchell and by 1920 they were living in Chehalis, WA. Charles was an assistant cashier at the bank. Charles had become a banker by 1930. Between 1957 & 1958 Charles passed away. And Maud passed away on 29 May 1960 in Chehalis, WA. Arthur Stowell Cory was born about 1880. He was the only child of Rev. William H. and Alida (Stowell) Cory. In 1888 the family moved to South Dakota where his father was a Methodist Episcopalian minister until his retirement due to health problems in 1901.
